Duties and Responsibilities

Support the company philosophy and company culture through the use of guiding principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring guest satisfaction and achievement of our mission statement.
Provide leadership and support to all MO Lounge staff.
Trains, evaluates and schedules MO lounge staff in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Develop and implement systems to check maintenance of tabletop supplies through staff side work duties.
Create side work schedules for all positions. Confirm compliance and follow up.
Keep records of and communicate any exemplary or deficient instances of food, decor or service.
Performs administrative duties such as, but not limited to, scheduling, payroll and rostering.
Scheduling, hiring and interviewing new colleagues
Always provide excellent service to all our guests
Assist guests courteously and efficiently
Managing daily activities
Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the MO Lounge at all times
Excellent knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
To manage proper supply levels.
Constant training and development of colleagues.
Presided over the monthly departmental meeting.
Conduct daily communication meetings with employees before shifts
Ensure MO Lounge service quality.
To inspect all our guest tables during or after their visit, to ensure satisfaction.
Manage, coach and mentor colleagues including disciplinary procedures.
Maintain and enforce all hotel policies and procedures outlined in the Hotel Associate Handbook
Attend weekly and monthly meetings.
Communicate all group information/changes in existing information to hotel colleagues accurately and timely
Entertain clients as appropriate
Proper phone etiquette.
Create a good environment
Coordinate all aspects of the Service to include but not limited to:
Food and beverage requirements
event time
Special attention guests
table setup
special request
Complimentary desserts, drinks etc.
Billing Instructions
Authorized signature
Decoration (to include flowers) requirements
Additional duties and responsibilities :
Report all suspicious persons or activities and dangerous or unsafe conditions to management
Understands and follows laws and guidelines for beverage service
Provides directions and/or instructions for the safety of guests and employees in the event of a fire or other emergency
Very knowledgeable about reservation system and Infogenesis POS system.
Ensures accuracy of all menus: current, accurate, correctly spelled, clear and presentable.
Ensures menu descriptions are up to date and distributed appropriately.
Assists with reconciliation of checks related to voids, promotions and discount items. Ensures that checks are settled in an honest and accurate manner.
Prepares annual budget
Generate semi-monthly pace reports
Develop monthly forecasts
Payroll audit of the department
Departmental PAF review and approval
Attend scheduled food and beverage meetings
Develop and update menus as appropriate
Revise standards and procedures for departments as needed

Reading, writing and oral skills in English language.

Must have in-depth knowledge of food and preparation
Have a deep knowledge of wine
Must have in-depth knowledge of drinks and cocktails
Able to establish rapport with guests and all levels of management.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury environment
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
Have excellent communication and organization skills
Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guests
Has the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner
Must have excellent attention to detail and extensive service knowledge
Salary: $90,000 to 100,000 annually.
