Summary: Must demonstrate competence, confidence, confidentiality and courtesy. Must be able to accurately count and manage cash in customer situations. One person shall be responsible for properly setting up a teller station and cash drawer; Determining acceptance of checks in accordance with legal requirements and bank policies; Correct daily balance; Answer customers' questions about banking products and services; and accurately processing all transactions. One year experience is preferred. Flexible hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide fast, efficient, accurate and friendly service to consumers and business customers when processing daily transactions.

Act as a bank representative by displaying the four C's of professionalism: Competence, Confidence, Confidentiality and Courtesy as well as dressing appropriately in accordance with AHB's staff policy.

Must have working knowledge of bank products and services, able to recognize customer needs, explain their benefits to meet their needs.

Establish good working relationships with colleagues.

Adequately meet all requirements of audit guidelines and security procedures.

Follow all established bank policies and procedures for this position. Comply with all state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements.

Always keep cash safe and maintain a high level of security for yourself, colleagues, customers and the bank.

Detect fraudulent currency and activity.

Answer customer calls while providing excellent customer service.

Perform any duties requested by a supervisor related to the bank and its operations.

Order checks and generate debit cards if necessary.

Reliable and adheres to attendance expectations.
